If an Insured has informed you that they have remediated vulnerabilities flagged on their Risk Report, your first step should be to log into your Cyber Risk Portal and run a new report (see How to run a report for a full guide).
If the vulnerabilities are still present, you can reach out to us at contact@upfort.com where we can run checks to see if the vulnerability is still valid, and provide directions for correct remediation.
We can check for open remote access ports using a manual connection test, investigate the headers analyzed in the Website Security section, and investigate the current live version of software/applications quoted in the Hosting Security section.
We will then notify you of any follow-up action required by the Insured if the vulnerabilities are still valid or update the scan to remove the vulnerabilities if necessary.
